Ave you ever though of when you were growing up, this that influenced what you like and hate in your adulthood? I was thinking of these things the other day:

I love bright white Keds sneakers….why because my cousin’s wife Carlene always wore bright white sneakers. There used to be this huge photo of her with a bandaged on her finger wearing bright white Keds.

I have a great erg to buy and wear polka dot shoes…because they took me to many country western concerts as a child and Dotty West wore a polka dot dress and shoes on stage when she sang. I can’t walk by polka dot shoes without wanting to try them on.

I saw this truck on the lot. I love it. $33,000. Can’t afford it but I love it!

I was suppose to go visit my Aunt for her 89th birthday in June. My cousin asked me to go. So I made arrangements. I got a two bedroom condo with my friends time share points and I planned the trip. Then my cousin and all the family I invited backed out on me……so I collected three friends who are going with me, however when I planned all this Coffee should have been done with chemo and because it has run longer then it should, we are still doing chemo. So I cut out trip shorter and made it more of a long weekend but now I don’t know if I should go at all because I don’t want her upset. I hate this …..

My friend Amy who is still teaching had her class write persuasive letters to the Mayor and had a week proclaimed kindness week. I applaud her creativity. I miss my classroom so much and I think she’s wonderful for still teaching. Kindness week was also put in cease fire week in Milwaukee. Too many shootings and dead teenagers.
